Creatable vs ShopMy

ShopMy is a shopping destination — a marketplace of creator curations that lives on their site and app and keeps the follow, the click and the conversion there. Creatable is the layer between social and your own store: build your creator program, then bring that content to life on your PDPs, where the sale, the data and the customer stay yours.

Why teams choose Creatable

Five things a marketplace can't do

Creatable AI (CAI) books the best seller for every product

CAI scans millions of creator profiles and 12 years of shoppable-video sales data to predict conversion before you book — then writes the brief, payout and requirements automatically. On a marketplace you wait for creators to opt in and pick your links; Creatable goes out and books the exact creators who convert your products — and they work for you, not for a destination.

Content becomes shoppable on your own site

Deploy creator video as interactive galleries and PDP carousels with add-to-cart, broadcast-grade streaming and product indexing — right inside your store. ShopMy hosts creator storefronts on ShopMy; Creatable puts creator video and creator storefronts on your domain, your PDPs and your app.

Creator-to-cart attribution, one platform

Reconcile every shoppable view against verified order data to see revenue per creator, per product, per placement — not estimated EMV. A marketplace reports the clicks it sent you and bills a commission; Creatable shows how each piece of content moved your funnel — view, click, add-to-cart, order — on your own site.

Activate employees + creators at scale

Turn store associates, ambassadors and affiliates into sellers alongside influencers — with a Team API and performance reporting by region, store and tier. An external network is external by definition; Creatable activates the people who already represent you — and keeps them on your property.

Creator storefronts that live on your site

Every creator, ambassador and store associate gets their own shoppable storefront hosted on your domain — their picks, their looks, their video, their followers' curated edit, all rendered in your commerce experience with your cart and your checkout. Shoppers browse a person, not a page, and never leave your site to do it.

On a marketplace those same curations become the marketplace's asset: their URL, their audience, their first-party data. With Creatable the curation, the traffic it earns, the SEO, the session and the shopper data are yours — you own it, control it, and can act on it.

The structural difference

A destination for shoppers, or a layer for your store

ShopMy compares itself to Instagram Shopping and TikTok Shop — and that is exactly right. It is a place to shop. Creatable doesn't compete with those destinations; it partners with them, and turns the traffic they send into engagement and revenue on the property you own.

ShopMy · a retail destination

Built so they own the shopper

Not you. The follow, the session and the data sit with the marketplace.

Creators curate on ShopMy and shoppers follow creators on ShopMy. The audience relationship belongs to the marketplace.
You opt in to the network, hand over your catalog and agree a commission to get your links carried.
Creator curations become their asset: their URL, their audience, their first-party data — none of which you own, control or can access.
Structurally in conflict with every retailer: a destination has to grow its own traffic, not yours.
Creatable · the layer in between

Built so you own the shopper

Every activation grows your property, your audience and your first-party data.

Discover and manage the creators who actually fit your products — your partners, not a network’s members.
One program across external creators, employees, ambassadors, store associates and true affiliates you onboard — each with their own storefront on your domain.
Collabs on social bring the traffic; shoppable video and creator storefronts hosted on your site close the sale.
No conflict of interest: every result we produce lands in your funnel, on your domain, against your orders.

Your store
The order, the customer, the data, the repeat purchase. All retained by you.

Use ShopMy as one more source of traffic if it performs. Just don't mistake it for the on-site experience every retailer has to own — replacing Creatable with a marketplace hands your funnel's most valuable moment to someone whose job is to keep it.

Common questions

Is ShopMy really a Creatable competitor?
Not in the way it looks. ShopMy is a shopping destination — closer to Instagram Shopping or TikTok Shop, which is how they position themselves. Creatable is the layer between those destinations and your own store: it builds and manages your creator program, then makes that content shoppable and measurable on your site. Plenty of retailers run both.
Why is a marketplace structurally in conflict with my site?
Because a destination has to grow its own traffic, follows and conversions to survive. Every incentive points to keeping the shopper there. Your business needs the opposite: external destinations feeding your property, where you own the session, the customer data and the repeat purchase. Creatable has no destination of its own, so there is nothing pulling against you.
Can we keep ShopMy and add Creatable?
Yes, and many brands do. Treat ShopMy like any other traffic source — if it performs, use it. Creatable then makes sure that when the click lands, your PDPs, category pages and app are full of creator content that converts, and tells you which content actually moved revenue.
Who owns the creator relationship?
With a network, creators are members of that network and choose which brands to carry. With Creatable the creators are yours: you discover them with predictive AI, brief them, hold usage rights for your own channels and pay them directly — alongside your employees, ambassadors, store associates and onboarded affiliates.
Can our own ambassadors and store associates have storefronts?
Yes — and they live on your site, not a third party's. Every creator, ambassador, employee and store associate can be given a shoppable storefront on your domain, filled with their own picks and video, running on your catalog, cart and checkout. The curation earns traffic and SEO for you, and the shopper data stays first-party.
How does attribution differ from marketplace reporting?
A marketplace reports the clicks it referred and the commission it earned. Creatable reconciles every shoppable view, click and add-to-cart against your verified order data — revenue per creator, per product, per placement, on your own site.
